To develop a much faster and space effective way of documenting images of innovative packaging I have created a Pinterest board.

ARKITIP
www.arkitip.com
Arkitip magazine has created such a reputation for supporting all art forms and its artists respectively that, along with its limited runs of each issue, it has created a large international following. Each issue comes custom made to reflect the artist and articles that feature inside the issue
Taken from the website, this is what the magazines creators have to say about the magazine (edited down for relevance):
"Arkitip's beginnings were humble. While the magazine began with a 50 copy, hand stapled run in 1999, those first copies look more sophisticated than most other "zines" you might have considered in the same category. The covers were silk-screened on corrugated cardboard and the docutek used to replicate the black & white art in the magazine rivaled the performance of most offset printers...Excellence in production is still of primary importance to Arkitip today...Today, Arkitip is a hand numbered 4/color art book. The magazine's founding principles remain as they were when we began:
Support the arts // Promote freedom of expression // Make art affordable and accessible"
- Arkitip also considers the environmental impact each issue has (again, I have edited the quote down for relevance) :
- "All glass, plastic, aluminum, cardboard and paper is recycled. The studio is lighted entirely with CFL light bulbs. All paper used (computer, fax, etc.) contains 100% post consumer recycled content. We only use eco-friendly paper towel and bathroom tissue that is made up of 100% recycled content and is 100% chlorine-free"
"Steven Harrington lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. Aside from owning and operating National Forest Design with fellow artist Justin Krietemeyer, he still finds time to work on both commissioned and self-inspired art projects of his own."
