Breaking the "info pack" into several separate sections will allow me to produce a simple outcome which provides the information in a clear way.
The colour systems research and commercial costings information are both detailed topics but will require less space physically than stock considerations so balancing each section into a continuous set/series will require thought.
By ordering and requesting several promotional packs from various companies I have began to understand that stock and finish are the main commercial and sales driven way of getting the attention of a client. Both Fedrigoni and Piccolo provide samples of stock, however each pride themselves on different sectors. Piccolo are a printing press which use stock to their advantage, whereas Fedrigoni are stock driven and so both packs from each company provide you with different types of sample pack.
Having a stock sample pack from Fedrigoni has made me realise that stock should really have a separate book all together along with information on how the stock can best be used.
